Thermoset™ ES-40/71 Epoxy System Where to Buy
Product Information
Thermoset™ ES-40/71 epoxy system is a two-component, general purpose system for use in many applications including adhesive, laminating and electrical/electronic insulation.
Handling and cured properties of the two-component epoxy system are dependent on the hardener used with Thermoset ES-40 epoxy resin.
Shelf Life
Shelf life of Thermoset ES-40 resin is six months when stored at 25°C in original, unopened container. If stored or shipped at cooler temperatures, Thermoset ES-40 resin may crystallize. If crystals appear, gently warm resin at 50-60°C to melt crystals before mixing with hardener.
Shelf life of Thermoset No. 71 hardener is 18 months when stored in a well ventilated area at 25°C in original, unopened container.
Features and Benefits
Low Exotherm – exhibits low exothermic heat rise during room temperature cure, minimizing affect on heat-sensitive components .
Environmentally Resistant – cured system provides excellent mechanical and thermal shock resistance; retains flexibility even after severe heat aging.
